Typically, on one's user page, one would expect a chunk about the user right there at the top, and though I seldom feel particularly inspired to write about myself, I shall attempt to oblige with such material herein, though I am yet unsure what I properly ought to put, for though I can write about what I do readily enough, owing to the wide variety of activities in which I am engaged, my writing about these activities can tend to get long-winded, rambling, and generally uninteresting; I fear that they may bore most readers, especially when I pretentiously attempt to exhibit a certain sort of a somewhat antique mode of writing, not currently in fashion, characterized by long, complex, multipart sentences such as this one.
I'm in my junior year at Wake Forest University, and when the school year is not in session I live not far away with my rather large family: Mom, Dad, three younger sisters, a little brother, about fourteen lovebirds, two parakeets, a long-haired dachshund, a cat, and a rather large Dutch rabbit. I am a computer science major and a studio art minor; I am presently studying printmaking under David Faber.
My politics, philosophy, and religious beliefs are complex: they have both real and imaginary parts. Read my political blog if you want to. I'd like to think it's atypical.

I'm an administrator.
As of mid-January I was still on the Arbitration Committee, but I have not run for re-election and so will not remain there long. Originally I ran and ended up losing the last seat to User:Grunt by a single vote (my own!)
On Freenode, I'm an official 'contact' for Wikipedia, and I sort of run most of the IRC channels (though I no longer typically take part in such governance directly, in part because I think #wikipedia itself has more or less gone to pot.) I actually contacted Freenode for this position before the Wikimedia Foundation was formed, so I could set up some IRC_channel_cloaks; if you want to get one, though, you'll need to sign the IRC_cloak_verifications page. I am not Freenode staff- some people were confused about this.
I don't use userboxes. Read my bio to learn more about me. Mwuahahahahahaha. :)

<AdamBishop> I also pronounce "lieutenant" the British way, as we're supposed to, but most people don't...
<kingturtle2> is lieutenant pronounced al-OOOOOOO-MIN-eee-um?
