Tip of the day... To prevent readers from getting your posts on talk pages mixed up with those of other users, be sure to sign your posts! When you edit a message, there is a row of square buttons at the top of the edit box. One of them looks like a signature: . Click on it, and four tildes (~~~~) are inserted where the blinking cursor is. When you save the page, those are automatically converted into a link to your user page followed by a date stamp. You can also type in the 4 tildes manually. To sign without a date stamp, type in three tildes (~~~) instead. Bonus tip: you can customize your signature in your preferences menu.
